update
Hey bowwows and meow meow,
Just dropping in for a brief update. I am switching labs to a lab that has more interesting chemistry, more reasonable hours, a more charismatic boss that is around less often, and a view of the ocean. I am excited.
I made pot roast on Monday. Shit tastes delicious. I'll put up a picture soon.
Going to Oakland for thanksgiving to visit my uncle Bruce and aunt Eve. I'll be home (DC!) for winter break dec 19-jan 2.
This weekend I'm going to try to win a seat to a poker tournament in the bahamas from jan 4-14. If I get it I'll be ballin out of control.
peace playas

i sent you fools a package
I sent it to Erin's place because he's only one I had an address for. The accompanying note lists some stuff that isn't actually in the box because the China Post is a mean babysitter and wouldn't let me share some things with you.
But Jamal, and Dillon! Give me your addresses! I have packages for you fools as well! Hurry up and tell me...apparently it takes something like five years for something to get from here to there.

Man vs The Man & Man vs Automobile
So I had my first week of work this week, and the shop is great! Lots of little kids working on bikes, mostly little BMX bikes. I really hit the ground running this week, and I'm reorganizing a bike to school program so that's going to be really fun as long as I can get kids to do it. Portland is great, though I wish there were more bowwows! I'll be in DC one of these days, don't you worry.
I also hit the ground in a less graceful manner on Tuesday when I got hit by a car on my bike! Seriously. Amazingly, I'm ok, just have some bruises and scrapes (I was wearing a helmet and a backpack that broke my fall). My bike, however, did not fare as well, and is looking pretty terrible at the moment (kind of like frank's post tree trunk coffee table). I was totally being responsible (she turned left into my lane right in front of me), so at least I'll get some dinero from insurance. I'll post some pictures when I get around to it.
Erin, great job on the header - so awesome

Erin has gone farm crazy
But he is right. I personally need avocado trees, thank you. And thank you, Frank, for the excellent work on the avocado tree front, might I add that I quite enjoy the interesting layout of your farm? Though not so much the hostile sign...I was just helping you get rid of those black crows.
In other news I will join some bowwows in DC tomorrow! Bend has been nice and has better beer then st paul but I'm already ready to get out and its only been 6 days so yeah I guess it's good I am doing that.
I'm adding labels to this post, the suggested ones were basically right on so I went with those.

Everyone please you have to help. Frank David and I are trying to build the most wonderful and successful farms on the internet but we can't do it unless you become our Farmbville neighbors on facebook. I shamelessly beg you to go on Facebook and get FARMVILLE so we can get BIGGER FARMS.
This is a very serious request. Please do it. Please send me trees.

Also, post more. Specifically: Dillon, post more. I haven't heard from you in a while.

Far-flung
China's really far away from you guys. I mean, really far away. I mean, not as in just distance. Yesterday the lady next to me at dinner was eating the head of a duck. And by eating, I mean just kind of sucking on it, because there isn't much there you can eat. Makes me miss sandwiches, almost as much as I miss Dayton. Come visit meeeee.
Frank, those pictures are depressing.

Dayton Photos
Here are some pictures I took in the last 30 minutes I was at Dayton:
Goodbye Dayton
In other news, I'm going to be in DC tomorrow night. Lets see how that works out!

Whatup 1610!
The population of bowwows in Maine is now officially one. Yesterday I got the keys for my new apartment, which is a good-sized studio right in downtown Portland, near pretty much everything I need. Yesterday I got a Dayton-esque couch from Goodwill (an awesome stranger helped with a truck and a hand with it up the stairs), and I went on a bike ride around the city to get my bearings.
For the past week I had been traveling with some friends from study abroad, first staying up north at a beautiful house up north in Acadia, then staying with my friend Jackie in Boston for a few days. We went on a Sam Adams brewery tour that you guys would have enjoyed (Boston Lager is no Summit EPA I have to say, but I'll just have to make due...at least they have PBR in Maine).
I'll be meeeting new boss at the bike shop on Friday, and seeing the shop -- I'm really excited to start. You'd be comforted to know that my passion for bicycles has only grown stronger since I left Dayton (Erin: I took the backyard dayton drawing from the living room that Hannah made -- I'll give it back in the future if you want it, in the mean time its displayed proudly on my wall).
This blog is a smashing idea -- no internet in my apartment (probably a good thing, after all), but I'll be checking it when I'm in coffee shops, which is going to be alot.
Alright peace out homies! Catch you all on the flip side.
PS -- If you ever want to get away from your obligations and have a stay in vacationland, there is a rent-free hidaway couch at Dillon's Portland 1610 Dayton outpost. It goes without saying, but its worth saying anyways I guess!

Two BowWows in the same place!
I made it to San Diego last night and met a bowwow, Jamal! He has a new Jamazda which is actually a subaru, and a house that has walls better than our old ones. Party Rover has gone about 2000 miles now, it's absolutely incredible that it hasn't exploded. I currently am picking sand out of my teeth from our excursion to the beach last evening and drinking a tall glass of OJ. We might go to the zoo later. And see some pandas.

All Nighter
I cleaned the house. It took a very long time. I did not sleep. Now I am in Eau Claire. I will post pictures later.
First Blog Evar
I have never posted a blog entry before. This is awesome.
I'm at work, and, of course, I haven't done any work yet, because, as all Daytonites know, I never actually do any work at any job I have, I just get paid for checking my email and reading Wikipedia.
Except that my supervisor just showed up, so I had better go.
